My major meat intake is chicken. I feel totally fine to eat chicken for quite a long time. (more than a year).
Today, my pain level goes...up. The only suspect is I had KFC Chicken for lunch...
As you all know, the doctor advise is to control your diet....there is a food table for gout(Purine table)...
http://www.acumedico.com/purine.htm or table everywhere.
In fact, inside your body, many organisms have metabolic pathways to synthesize and break down purines. http://www.purineresearchsociety.org/
I agreed "WHY WE AREN'T WHAT WE EAT","THE BODY'S ANSWER --- METABOLISM"
But not to accept the simple but mysterious reason...Genetic
Anyway, you cannot really avoid Purine by just not taking food with purine...
The real problem, I believe should be what cause your body METABOLISM malfunction.
We were surrounded by "unknown" "SAFE" food enhancers, especially in your fast food, package food...KFC, McDonald...
MY ADVICE to gout patient:
Have healthy fresh meat. No more KFC, McDonald, ..., FAST FOOD
Original recipe KFC gives me gout too but their zinger fillets & other chicken products are fine. Go figure huh ? :-D
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking the time to discuss that, I feel strongly about this and so really like getting to know more on this kind of field. Do you mind updating your blog post with additional insight? It should be really useful for all of us. Gout Treatment at Home
ReplyDeleteAte KFC original recipe for dinner, woke up the next morning with gout. Happened twice...No more. There is something in KFC's chicken that causes this. No other chicken has caused this to date

ReplyDeleteI too experience Gout, 2 day after having KFC. I have experienced this twice. Did not link the attack to KFC the first time as it is "chicken". Kind of sure now, since it has happen a second time. Both times I had 3 pieces of KFC original recipe chicken with cheesy fries and a small whipped potato.
ReplyDeleteVery true... Got attacks after KFC 1-NUGGETS. 2-BURGER. 3-THEIR CHICKENS. . SERIOUSLY SHITHEAD
ReplyDeleteWow guys, no KFC is a big ask hey....I haven't had this experience yet but will definitely put it on my "Hell No" list of foods to avoid.
ReplyDeleteIt is the oil they used. They stopped using palm oil. They used canola and soybean oil now, which causes inflammation.
ReplyDeleteHad a painful attack two weeks that it finally gone day one out walking. Day two, a two piece fried chicken layer of cheese and sauce. The same spot start to ache.
I am 80% sure of it, as I cooked my food all those weeks after I had kfc for lunch then next day a painful attack. Then this again.
Maccas nuggets flared my gout.
ReplyDeleteSame thing happened to me , I had 3 children strips and one piece of chicken breast , nest day I had pain full gout.
ReplyDeleteHad a kfc on a Thursday felt pain in my foot on the Saturday, now I have full blown gout. Had it once before also had a kfc, but I'm linking the 2 up. Disgusting chappy food. Never again
ReplyDeleteM.S.G chicken salts, allso fryed processed oils, used in gravy, are all inflammatory. Eat in moderation
